Ryan Swope’s streaking strides caught a lot of eyes at the NFL Combine last week.

Swope is vying to be drafted into the NFL this year, while currently he is also trying to become the cover athlete for the annual EA Sports NCAA Football 2014 game. Swope, a former Westlake High School and Texas A&M University player, ran a 40-yard dash at the combine in 4.34 seconds, the second-fastest time at the event.

He is going against Michigan University’s Denard Robinson for the cover slot, with voting ending Friday (facebook.com/easportsncaafootball). As of Monday evening, Robinson led Swope by about 14,000 votes with each player garnering more than 100,000 so far.

The 206-pounder also did the rounds last week, even appearing on the national Dan Patrick Radio Show and bantering with the longtime sports personality (danpatrick.com).

The Aggies all-time leading receiver snagged 252 catches and 3,117 receiving yards during his time at Texas A&M.
